Kaylyn Greene Bio

Hello and welcome to my short, yet still lengthy biography.

I'm Kaylyn Greene, and I'm a journalist in short form. My passions often come in the form of finding exciting stories, expressing to the world my feelings about music and movies, and just focusing my efforts on being as creative as possible.

I never knew journalism would be the career for me until I sat down with my mom before starting the college application process and realized how much I could see myself doing this in the future, and thus began the love of journalism. I've always had a passion for theatre and music which has made its way into the stories I like to cover and focus on. I've always been a writer, but I didn't get the chance to delve into that until recently and I've been enjoying all of the work so far.

I'm a Pennsylvania native and I'm looking to escape the pastures of PA and branch into new markets and experiences. I have experience in broadcast reporting/anchoring, entertainment, and news writing, and most recently, as a multimedia journalist. I have much experience from school organizations and a summer full of professional experience, and I only grow in a professional space over the course of my post-grad journey.
